Our apartments in Flachau are incredibly easy to reach

Easy accessibility is one feature that is often underestimated when it comes to choosing a holiday destination. Endless winding mountain roads, narrow valleys or snow-covered mountain passes? You will not have these problems when you spend your holiday in Flachau!

By car

You can easily get to Flachau via the highway A10 Tauernautobahn, which is one of the major traffic routes through Austria. Take the exit Flachau, follow the street to the village centre for about 1.5 km and you will arrive directly at our apartment house.

from Salzburg via the A10: ca. 1 hour
from Munich via the German A8 and the Austrian A10: ca. 2 hours 20 minutes
from Linz via the A1 and the A10: ca. 2 hours 10 minutes
from Vienna via the A1 and A10: ca. 4 hours
from Villach via the A10: ca. 1 hour 15 minutes
from Graz via the A9 and B320: ca. 2 hours 45 minutes
from Innsbruck via the A12, the German A8 and the A10: ca. 2 hours 45 minutes

Good to know

Please note that all vehicles need a Vignette (toll sticker) for Austrian motorways. If you arrive from south via the Tauernautobahn highway, you also have to pay an additional toll for the Tauerntunnel.

By other means of transport

If you prefer to use public transport, we recommend taking the train and bus. For great distances, also a journey by plane via the airport Salzburg might be an option. From there, it takes you about an hour (by car) to drive to our holiday apartments in Flachau. If necessary, you can rent a car at the airport. Alternatively, you also have the opportunity to book the shuttle service that is provided by different taxi companies in Flachau – a great service!
